More again from The Golden Horde, I've been pretty much hoovering up anything I can find of this band in the past few weeks, also alot of conversations I have had about this blog with people seem to show that there is a lot of love out there for these guys. This band smack of rock n roll abandon, from the guitar licks to the excellent vocals of Carmody it's all gold.

Absolutely fucking fantastic live show by The Golden Horde I race graciously passed on. recorded off the radio in 1989 and ripped to mp3. I only have heard The Golden Horde since I started doing this blog and to be honest they are fast becoming one of my regular plays. The quality on this is excellent so if you enjoy anthemic, menancing, victorious, rock n fuckin roll you should download, the songs Stick With Me and Fiona are worth it on their own. Now this is an unusual one! Had to have a think about whether I should this up here or not, due to the fact that it was recorded on larger independent label but then I noted that the Lp is linked off Robert Anton Wilson's webpage (more on that in a second) so I may as well put it up here too. The Golden Horde were an infamous Dublin band that started up in 1982, emerging from the garage scene, with a dark and hypnotic sound. This album was a collaboration with eminent author, scientist and conspiracy theorist Robert Anton Wilson, who supplied both vocals and lyrics.
