A couple of the tracks - CHAYO, and a cover of the Dead Kennedys BLEED FOR ME appeared on THE DIRT BEHIND THE DAYDREAM Vol II (FOAD) , also in 1992." 1. Nice one Ed. When I was a kid in Waterford, the FOAD tapes were readily available and were some of the first Irish punk/hc stuff I heard, and this was the only one I ever liked..always thought it was a bit of an under appreciated gem. There's a story that they played in Waterford without a member (think it might have been Fin) because he was doing his Leaving Cert at the time and his ma wouldn't let him play.

  2. Band members from SMH went on to form The Steam Pig, Stomach, The Jimmy Cake but The Mexican Pets predate all of this - Fin slotted into the line-up during one of their many break-up/Reformations over the years... so technically he didn't go on to form the Mexican Pets - That was all Claffo's fault!!!
